The words 'binge drinking' are often contained in the headlines. If you haven't heard the expression 'binge drinking' you must be living on another world as it is so commonly in the news. Just about everyone has on some occasions found ourselves dancing the night away having had one (or six) too many wines.
We live in a very stressful world, and each and every day our lives get busier, the desire to have escapism grows stronger. It is no wonder we turn to alcohol: visit a town centre on a weekend and everybody is out letting off steam, having fun. Competition between bars is brutal, and offers on drinks are getting more and more competitive every single week. A lot of people don’t see it as an issue, after all it's just a good night out right?
